White Hart tour - "Red room" fireplace

Looked circa 1950s to me - that's what was so great about this famous old room, we had the fifties fireplace, the sixties carpet, the seventies paper lampshade, the horrendous eighties print. It was like they kept shoving stuff in there to reflect the changing styles of each decade but without ever doing one major upgrade. Doesn't matter now I suppose!
