Lincoln, Cathedral, South aisle, SG43, Jacob & Isaac, W E Chance of Oldbury, 1855

A window devoted to Jacob and Isaac and made in 1855 by WE Chance of Oldbury, Worcestershire. Chznce was from a well-known Oldbury family of glass makers and founded W E Chance for the exclusive production of stained glass. He supplied Hardman with glass. This window was given in memory of John Fardell, of Holbeck Lodge, near Horncastle, formerly MP for Lincoln who died the previous year.
