I always though that these coaches were Stunning, compared to the stable fair at the time which was mostly Plaxtons with a few Vanhools chucked in for good measure. This lovely looking Duple Hestair 425 integral on a nasty Dennis chassis, is seen in Cardiff Bus Station, operating the "SWT Shuttle" which ran between Bath and Swansea and called at Bristol, Newport and Cardiff. I would be interested to hear the opinions of people who actually drove them or worked on them, as Duple's were renowned for being rot boxes. Not the Duple DOminant bodied Tiger behind, working for Rhonnda.
