S. Ontario trip 2012

Our annual jaunt to Southern Ontario - this time by car along the scenic Hwy 17 route, much of it close to Lake Superior to Sault Ste Marie with our first stop at the Ruffled Grouse B&B on the North Channel of Lake Huron - then westward towards Sudbury and south along Hwy 69 to Barrie - then to St Catherines. Sightseeing at Port Dalhousie - Weller Park - cemetary - Niagara on the Lake - Butterfly Conservatory - Whirlpool Aerial Car - Lake House Restaurant in Vineland - Lock #3 Welland Canal - Primitive Designs, Port Hope - Rice Lake - Cobourg - the Big Apple - heading north towards Sudbury - westward again - St. Joseph's Island Bridge -Sault Ste Marie - Batchawana Bay - east on hwy 552 to hwy 556 and then north on Hwy 129 to Chapleau - east to Timmins - north to Cochrane - west to Hearst -
