Jaakko at work!

There is an old Finnish saying "Jaakko throws the cold rock into the lake on July 25th." thus ending the swimming season for the year. With the coolish nights we have had lately and the coolest at 10C last night the bathtubbish warm water in our lake will definitely be cooling down - but that will not deter us northerners from jumping into the lake.
