Single Person Emergency
My friend Jennifer, who lives in Rhode Island, sent me the label for a disaster preparedness kit she received at work a few years ago. I had recently moved from my home in New York to Cleveland, Ohio, dropped out of graduate school, and spent much of my time hanging out with married people. For Valentine's Day that year, I scanned in the label, erased everything but the important part, and sent it around to friends. I'm now happily single - no more emergencies!
