Winter's Blast
A mixture of wind-blown snow and rime ice coat the summit of Balsam Mountain in the Catskill Mountains. This sometimes occurs when clouds have enveloped the upper reaches of the peaks.
The EXIF max aperture value is wrong and should be f/2.8 as I neglected to change the manual focus lens profile in my D850 to the correct lens (Nikkor 55mm f/2.8 micro). It is a painful enough task as it is to handle metal-bodied lenses in sub-freezing temperatures!
