Brocade tablet woven band, silk and gold coloured thread, August 2018. Inspired by a piece of brocade band found on the Birka archeological site.

The front of the dress has the more elaborately brocaded silk band. The band on the sides and back has brocaded motifs inspired by the same Birka pattern, separated by about four centimetres of plain silk weave.
