TMNT The Arcade Game for Famicom!
This is a composite scan for a WELL LOVED copy of the Nintendo Famicom box for "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," which American gamers knew as TMNT 2: The Arcade Game. Konami's naming and numbering strategy was different in Japan, as it took a little longer to properly introduce the franchise to their homeland's audience, thus America's TMNT 2 became Japan's TMNT 1. The box is smaller in dimensions but otherwise largely similar in art design to the NES release seen in North America, something of a rarity in those days. The iconic work of Ryan Brown and Steve Lavigne transcends all cultural boundaries, I suppose! The back of the box does seem to have a little more fun with the source material compared to its Western counterpart! COWABUNGA!
