Walnut Festival

Heather Farms, about a mile from our house, hosts an annual parade, followed by a fair / carnival called the Walnut Festival. We went to the parade, which is mostly cheerleader teams and dance groups over the weekend, then the following Friday night we went to the festival. There are tons of rides for little kids, and tons of people, mostly tweens and teens. It's very nice to have such a thing come so close to home and open early on a Friday night. We had a great time.
