Convención de mariposas / Butterfly's meeting

There was a wet place where many insects went, especially butterflies of several types and bees. They would fly and settle for a moment. Sometimes they landed on top of another butterfly that then had to fly away.

Había una pequeña humedad a donde muchos insectos iban, especialmente mariposas y abejas. Volaban y se asentaban por un momento, muchas veces cayendo encima de otra mariposa a la cual hacían mover. Lo curioso es que a dos metros estaba el río Medellín con agua estancada en muchas partes pero solo aquí se asentaban los insectos.

 

PD: The most abundant butterfly, identified as Marpesia marcella, looks more like Marpesia corinna.
