9. Make sure you are statically discharged!
The halves should now separate. BE CAREFUL! Ribbon cables still connect the front and back halves of the camera. Most ribbon cables have a black flip tape that secures the ribbon. Simply flip these up with a small flathead screwdriver or your thumbnail. A few of the cables have tabs on the left and right side which you must slide out in order to remove the cables. See next.
