Intake tract modification

I have run into two problems:

1 The supercharger is too wide to be placed between the heads of the 32V engine

2 Intake ports in the head are made to mate up with a diagonal intake, not vertical like I am going to use. This will create a kink and changing cross-sections in the intake tract. Not good for flow at all.

 

A probable solution is to reshape the intake for vertical flow. This solves both problems in one go! Hopefully there is some "meat" to work with in the top of the ports so I dont cut through...
