Five coats of ruby shellac on Nitto Randonneur bars.

I mixed ruby shellac flakes to denatured alcohol, but it was pretty difficult to measure for the right mixture. The first coat was very light, almost yellow, and I thought I had underestimated the amount of shellac. However, after four coats the colour turned out honey, very much like what Alex Singer bicycles often have.
