Butter Nut Bread Wall Sign Cincinnati OH
There are three, or more, wall signs painted onto the west side of this building on McMicken Avenue in Over-the-Rhine. The Butter Krust bread ad was overpainted to the name we know today, Butter Nut Bread. Above the logo, in yellow lettering, the sign reads "A Baker Bread".
An earlier wall sign says "Furniture" and "Sofas" between the yellow letters and the Butternut logo. Underneath the logo, the white lettering reads "Home Outfitting". I'm unable to read any of the other words.
This sign has held up surprisingly well. The link below shows the same ghost sign in a photo that I took in 1989.
