One of four Nyberg vehicles purchased by the department at a cost of $1,268.50 each. All were placed in service on October 15, 1913 - this vehicle at the quarters of Engine 23 on Madison Road in East Walnut Hills. This car was removed from service in September of 1916. The canvas, convertible top is nice, but it doesn't offer any protection if you're in the rear seat.
Nyberg autos were built in Anderson, Indiana from 1911 to 1914. The factory building used by Nyberg is the same building where Buckeye Manufacturing and Howe Fire Apparatus were located.
