HGF 805
The 23rd Daimler carried a Duple body - the only one to come to Ledgards that did. HGF 805 was the former LT D178 and lasted in the fleet until 1961. Note the unusual application of the post-1957 blue and grey livery. This was the only ex-LT Daimler to receive the new livery, all the others were withdrawn in Blue/Cream/Green. The vehicle behind it is also Duple bodied, and so must be one of JUB128/9, JUB647/8, (JUB 649 with original body), or JUB 650-2/8/9. Again, note the sliding windows fitted to HGF - Bondgate nust have been busy again! The location is Cookridge Street, Leeds (thanks, Busman91) and the information I have is that the date is October 1954 - but it can't be because of the liveries! Scanned from a commercially available print.
