Peter Harris is an elusive figure suspected to have been born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He learned to ski at a very young age, since both of his parents were skiing gurus. Frustrated with the creative and intellectual constraints of high school, he dropped out and proceeded to roam the world on his skis, producing art inspired by the things he encountered. In his early career, before his art became lucrative, he often made the small amount of money he needed to survive by painting houses, although many people objected to the artistic expression he applied to these jobs. Many of his photographs and drawings were published under a pseudonym (as he preferred to maintain his anonymity). This artist has long remained faceless, quietly contributing to American art, and occasionally, scholarly publications.

Recently, there was a slip in information, and unnamed sources have disclosed that the mysterious "Peter Harris" can by identified by a certain green hat he always wears. Ever since this information was released to the public, a photographic manhunt has been underway. The facebook group dedicated to capturing this elusive personage on camera can be located here.
