There are places I like to go back to and photograph more than once. It seems like there are many photographs there, different light and moods, so it’s not ever the same. This is one of those places. It is the road to Botany Bay on Edisto Island in South Carolina. This time after a significant rain. My vehicle looked like I had taken it off-road, what they call “mudding” in these parts, by the time I’d been all over the plantation. I will most certainly be back.
