best baby hat/bootees combo (imho)

norwegian knitting patterns..."sweet baby" hat (interesting shaping (inc/dec) + booties that actually stay on!

 

...found free patterns on ravelry...yarn is dalegarn baby ull (lots/lots great colours!) + completely machine washable/dryable!

 

...knit for best friend's 1st grandchild...parents wanted a surprise, so they picked out these funky unisex colours!
