On golden sea

Sunset over Orlock Head, County Down, Northern Ireland. 10pm sunset after a glorious 17 hours of sunshine since sunrise at 5am.

The sun sets to the right of the distant water tower for about 5 weeks of mid summer, from this point on the rocks at Donaghadee. The rock pool is filled at high tide, while the clear hole rock is exposed on the left, at low tide.
