Il Ponte Cestio collega l'Isola Tiberina alla sponda destra del Tevere, dove si estende il rione Trastevere, e, probabilmente, fu fatto edificare nel 46 a.C. da Lucio Cestio, uomo politico cesariano.
The Cestio bridge connects the Tiberina island to the right bank of the Tiber, where lies the Trastevere quarter, and probably it was built in 46 BC by Lucius Cestius, a Caesarian politician.
