A face to remember, one meant to be an enduring portrait preserving precious impressions and emotions. Perhaps its artwork is based on a photograph by a family member or a professional. What a kindly task!
A special image captures her at a gilded and so significant moment in life which will not return! But it could protect her beloved memory against the tides of time that inevitably cover the sands of life…..
Unfortunately so many portraits disappear from sight when no one is able to retain them, perhaps after a relative suffers a life change; sadly, no home is left for the picture which then falls to the discretion of a stranger who, however kindly, knows nothing of the lady. Then a portrait’s fate may be lie in a charity shop, often near the lady’s original home..
