THE WELL-FITTING WINDSMOOR SUIT was ideally complemented by well-chosen accessories. A pair of white gloves was always a correct choice, and only the best millinery could add the right regal touch to the ‘Windsmoor’ look!!

“Once I’d been tucked in, the skirt fitted perfectly! That is the Windsmoor assurance, for which I’d always been grateful.
The hat came at the last moment! I was almost in despair until a very nice person, well-uniformed, I should add, arrived to deliver a concoction that complemented the mood, but seemed to take ages to fit and stay balanced! You’ll know exactly what I mean, and you won’t be surprised that there was a call for more pins to secure it in place before I could be allowed to present the whole outfit.
What a relief! At last, to be able to present! …
.’Spring Garden Party for Edna’ was the announcement…..
’Fit for a queen with the longest of reigns!’
Did they mean Victoria? Anyway, a good number of smiles followed, to my pleasure, before in the nature of things I was discreetly whisked to one side and my companion mannequin stood in my place.
The hat remained firmly in position, thank heavens! There was yet more fussing before it could be removed, and from thence it was off to the changing room. And much blessed relief! ‘
