The Birthing Unity Maternity Program (BUMP) Group is an innovative way of providing care to pregnant couples. Not only does it offer prenatal care, couples also receive education on all aspects of their pregnancy, postpartum, and infant care. In addition, there are other couples in the group who are at the same stage of their pregnancy so there is support that is gained as well. Couples form lasting relationships from not only their group but with their midwives too. Imagine having up to two hours with your provider to receive prenatal care, education, ask questions, and find support with others who are experiencing some of the same things you are going through. The group follows the same visit schedule as your regular visits but the times are more convenient for those working couples. The MomDoc Midwives staff is very excited about the BUMP Group, and look forward to all the opportunities it will provide for pregnant couples!
