Mystery singer
I was traveling throught Schoodic Barrens, a very large area covered by low bush blueberries. I heard this song coming from a small strip of trees that act as a buffer for a small stream running through the barrens, Mixed hardood/softwood. The tree that it is in is a 25' high white birch. Any guesses as to what it is? A series of 4-5 notes with a pause and a single or two notes, followed by 4-5 notes. I can hear it now that I know it. Good luck!
