This rare endemic species was a big target on this part of the trip. It has a reputation for being a considerable challenge, and some groups miss it, or only hear it calling! The fact it seems to favour the thickest parts of the cerrado scrub, only adds to the challenge.

After about half an hour, we got exceedingly lucky :)
