A flock of 15 or so of these have been visiting trees behind my office this spring, which is super fun but cements the idea that I'm a total weirdo to my coworkers.
Also, in news no one cares about, this is the first photo I've processed in darktable, which I'm finding I like quite a bit. Previously, I'd been using Photoshop, but in an attempt to go full FOSS, I've ditched macOS on my desktop and installed Slackware instead. So between my desktop, my laptop (also Slackware), and my webserver (Debian), their isn't a single line of proprietary closed-source code being executed in my house. Pure dorky ecstasy.
