Illumination...Antelope Canyon # 3
Worth a look on black if you have time View On Black
I am sometimes a bit over self critical of my photographs. On this occasion however I am delighted with the results. When we booked the trip into Antelope Canyon I hoped to get one or two good images and we organised the visit at what was supposed to be the best time of the day to catch these shafts of light. The shot is cropped a little with some slight lightening of the shadow areas but is essentially straight from the camera. Obviously a tripod was absolutely necessary. The area where the light hits the floor is over exposed but even the most sophisticated light sensor would struggle with the extreme light contrasts found in the canyon
THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT HAVE A GREAT DAY
