Pools of Sky

I always put my shots on the geomap must say when I am looking at other peoples work it annoys me when I have no idea where they were taken.

Saying that this shot could be almost anywhere. However it was shot on the beach at Le Crotoy in Picardy. The town rather than facing the sea directly is on the Baie de la Somme a huge estuary, when the tide is out you get huge area of mud with very useful pools. It’s a great spot for Bird watching but sadly we did not have time to take up the opportunity
