Tree Sparrow

** Tree sparrows are smaller than the more common House Sparrows and are harder to come across . There numbers have been in decline for some time and they are on the RSPB red list. The only place I ever see them is at Bempton not on the cliffs with the sea birds but on bushes and trees a few hundred yards from the sea . With their Chestnut heads they are bonny little birds
