X As usual I have tried to be denial about the coming festivities but I guess I have to admit it's Christmas time again . So to those who celebrate Christmas I hope you will have a wonderful and peaceful time, for those who don’t , enjoy your time anyway. I fall into a third group I try to just let it drift by me, we usually do a fair bit of walking in the countryside and reading. My Christmas treat this year is rereading George Elliots novel Mill on The floss and I am looking forward to see the new version of Little women by Greta Gerswig . I shall take a small flickr break as it gets a bit quiet on the site
The wintry scene is the Village Pond in Bishop Burton a village about six miles from Hull
A bit of Christmas Music you may not have heard The Waterson family from Hull singing While Shepards watched to a different tune than the normal it was recorded I think in 1965
