Château des Pêcheurs

* The Chateau la Bussiere to give it its formal name is found in the Loiret Department of central France. It looks quite splendid from the outside but sadly the interior is a little dilapidated. The reason for visiting the Chateau was is its excellent garden, which is very formal but a delight.

The castle was built in the twelfth century. Regularly expanded, it was transformed to the sixteenth century to a manor house .The du Tillet family owned the castle for three centuries until the French Revolution. In the eighteenth century the lake was developed and became a popular place to fish hence its other name le Château des Pêcheurs. It’s certainly a fine place to take reflection shots.

THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT AND FOR TAKING THE TIME TO WRITE A COMMENT IT’S MUCH APPRECIATED AND SO MUCH MORE INTRESTING THAN JUST GIVING A FAVE
