Baby bird

This little youngster was trying out his wings, with Mother watching carefully close by. After a few flaps of his wings, which are pretty small still, he tumbled a few feet to the ground. Mother, ever watchful, encouraged him, and he was soon back up on a perch, this time a section of fence. Off she went to gather food, and found him waiting, quite impatiently, and rewarded his efforts with a tasty meal. Tasty to him.
