U.S.S. Bowfin, "Avenger Of Pearl Harbor," Pearl Harbor, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii

The Bowfin is an attack submarine that was launched one year after the Pearl Harbor attack. She received her nickname for sinking 44 Japanese ships during the war and damaging about 10 others. Today she is a museum open to the public for tours.
