Tolbukhin Lighthouse, Kronstadt, Russia

This is the oldest of the many lighthouses in Kronstadt, built in 1810. The station was established in 1719. The round old style stone tower is white with a red lantern dome, with a two story stone keeper's house nearby. The original lighthouse on this site was a wooden structure ordered by Peter The Great.

The light signal is a white light 3 seconds on and 9 seconds off.

Located on a tiny island 4 miles west northwest of the western tip of Kotlin Island, which accounts for the poor quality blurred photograph.
