The Golden Peacock Clock, The Hermitage, St. Petersburg, Russia
This large automaton clock was built by Englishman James Cox and acquired by Catherine The Great in the late 1700 hundreds. It is one of the most popular attractions in the museum and probably the only working example of 18th century large scale robotics. The clock is only in operation on certain days.
