Barry Docks Breakwater Lighthouse, Barry, Wales, U.K.

Built in 1890 and still an active lighthouse. The cast iron tower is 30 feet tall and equipped with a modern optic which flashes white every 2.5 seconds.

Located in Barry on the west breakwater about 9 miles southwest of Cardiff.

Barry is now a sleepy small seaport, popular with yachtsman and tourists, but in 1913 more coal was shipped from this port than anywhere else in the world.
