Breakwater Lighthouse, Sheboygan, Wisconsin 2004

Built in 1905 and relocated to its present site in 1915 from the north pier when the breakwater was completed. The station was established in 1900. The lantern has been removed from the 50 foot tall round steel tower, but a continuous red light is shown from the tower top, which also houses an array of weather instruments.

 

Located on Lake Michigan onthe north side of Shepoygan harbor
