Moduron Porffor
Purple Motors of Bethesda, North Wales ran ex London Transport Daimler Fleetline DMS670 for a good few years on their stage carriage service 207, which ran between the slate mining village they were based in and the City of Bangor.
I remember what a very exhilarating journey it was too as the front dome of MLK670L brushed against the telephone wires above the narrow back roads that the service took- the twisting route certainly didn't use the main A5 road that also runs between the two towns!
The DMS is seen here in its first colour scheme during 1984- from memory at the Bethesda turn around point.
This bus was later repainted into a not so nice scheme (imho) a while after this- there is a picture of it at Bangor elsewhere in my stream after the route was renumbered to 7.
