Iron bridges

The old wrought iron railway bridges which spanned the river Ouse at St-Ives.Sadly removed in august 2007 to make way for the (mis)guided bus and now replaced with a concrete one instead.

This was the St-Ives to Cambridge line and closed to passengers in 1970.The tracks were removed sometime in the mid 70's upto nearby Fen Drayton and from there on were used to haul locally extracted sand & gravel to London up until 1992.
