The effects of the front passing have been delayed slightly due to the high ground at Dun Law, just north of Oxton on the A68 to Jedburgh.
The vanes of the wind turbines at Dun Law West can be seen disappearing into the remains of the low cloud above the summit. If the cloudbase reached the ground it would be referred to as Hill Fog.
