Wk 24 : Luck
Was out and about in the yard and as I was scoping the flower buds getting ready for opening. I happened upon a bunch of field daisies in various stages. Started focusing on the tiny white petals hiding the yellow centers. Since I am not a fan of flash and the light was low I was carefully trying to get the area in focus that I wanted to shoot and amid admiring the lacey edges at the base of the petals, a spider mite appeared when I clicked the shutter. What luck! I have tried to capture these teeny and super quick arachnids before to no avail and here by chance one scoots in front of the lens. Not in perfect focus, but a great little pop of color and my submission for this week's theme : LUCK
