Sensory Overload...

Wow! Thoughts of this evening make all my senses come alive. This was the first night we were in San Diego and everything about the conditions were so right. Every nerve in my body was tingling with excitement. The smell of the saltwater, the sound of the waves crashing, the wind, the storm clouds above were really turning this first night into a great photo oppurtunity!

 

This was right in Front of the place we were staying on Pacific Beach. The large piles of "stuff" that I used for a forground subject are large piles of Kelp that had washed up on the beach. With the big storms that were just ending these piles were coming in constantly. This was an outstanding evening. I was so excited to be back at the ocean!
