A Farewell to San Diego...And a Thank you...

Ooooh Damn.. What to say on this one. :) Nothing but smiles from me! I am one happy guy right now :) :) :) :)

Nikki and I had such a wonderful mini vacation here. I came up with the phrase the "right coast and the wrong coast". California being the "right coast" and the east coast being the "wrong". Sorry Florida and surrounding states. You have nothing on the right coast. Lol!

The weather was amazing ( you can read more about if here if you like www.nbcsandiego.com/news/local-beat/San-Diego-Storm-Cover.... We caught the tail end of the surreal Cali storms, The storms that hit in California recently were amazing. They have not seen storms or swells like this for years. We were worried that we would get rained out the whole time we were there, but it turned out being perfect and we got phenomenal weather. We also got great opportunities to shoot some stormy seascapes and landscapes because of the after affects of the storms, plus some great warm weather.

Anyways, This shot was from our last night in San Diego. After the storms and clouds had dissapeared.

We Decided to head down to the South Mission Bay Beach Jetty, in Belmont Park. Nothing too crazy to shoot here.. But it was a absolutely gorgeous sunset!

I have about 1500 RAW images from our trip to process. Everything from seascapes, to cactus in Balboa Park, Very Hilly/mountainy Torrey Pines Park, Old town and more....

All in all we had a fabulous time. Californians are very generous and it is a place that I would love to reside in someday. Just driving through there towns and down there freeways are lovely. We will definitely be back :)

Thank you San Diego :)
