Coscoroba Swan (Coscoroba coscoroba)

This large South American waterfowl breeds from southern Chile and central Argentina down to Tierra del Fuego and the Falkland Islands. During winter, it migrates north to central Chile, northern Argentina, Uruguay, and southeastern Brazil.
Males weigh between 3.8 and 5.4 kg, and females between 3.2 and 4.5 kg. Their length ranges from 87.5 to 115 cm, with a wingspan of 155 to 160 cm.
Mostly white, they have black tips on the outer six primary feathers - though these are often barely visible when the wings are closed. Their bill, legs, and feet are bright red.
