Maguari Stork (Ciconia maguari)

The species inhabits seasonal wetlands over much of South America. It is the only bird of its genus to occur in the New World and is one of the only three New World stork species, together with the smaller Wood Stork (Mycteria americana) and the larger Jabiru (Jabiru mycteria).
