Feral dogs of Ploiesti

Catching some sun on a cold afternoon.

Romania has it's share of feral dogs related in part to a history of loosely domesticated farm dogs, poverty, political upheaval, and the 1977 earthquake. Here they are fairly well supported and fed and most are tagged or collared indicating they've been spayed or neutered. They're quite smart about cars and wait to cross roads with people.
