We had thick cloud cover and rain showers off and on all day with only a few breaks in the clouds that allowed a bit of sunlight to get through.

 

I didn't not bother to go out near sunset as the cloud cover was still thick and dark.

 

Just after sunset the clouds lit up briefly and I got this shot of it from our driveway.
