Work: Garbo Amsterdam
Launched back in September, this lesbian community site was one of the biggest multilingual challenges Whoooz has ever worked on using ExpressionEngine. The site is being maintained by a dedicated team 24/7, but is still in the making as needs change and new challenges open up. I designed it, plus I built its dating-part from scratch using the excellent CodeIgniter framework. The decision to do this came when I found out that none of the existing solutions, open source nor payware met Garbo's requirements.
By the way, as you can see in the screenshot, the backdrop wallpaper is being cut of every now and then. This was due to the fact I made the screenshots manually and piece by piece, being too lazy to fire up Littlesnapper or another app that can take 'full-site-screenshots'... And yes, I know that would have taken less time ;)
